About Academic Search

The academic component of our search engine offers student-athletes a look at colleges and universities where they can expect to meet admission standards. If you choose to enter academics (your grades, class rank, ACT/SAT), then only those colleges and universities where you can expect to meet admission standards will be displayed on your search results.

Examples:
If you are an “A” student with an ACT score of 28, then ALL colleges and universities will likely appear on your search results.

If you are an “C” student with an ACT score of 22, then ONLY colleges and universities carrying a rating of “4”, “5” and “6” will likely appear on your search results.

Colleges and universities with the highest academic rating (1 thru 6) will always appear first on your search results. If you are concerned about the specific academic standards (grades, class rank, ACT/SAT) of an individual college or university, then please visit that school’s website or contact their admission office for more details.
